- For direct release files, read the release notes and use any published checksums to check the downloaded file.
- Store editions update through Microsoft Store. Direct builds have their own documented update route.
- AI functionality may need an existing local runtime, a server you control or your own provider account. Check costs and limits before enabling a provider.
